Groesbeck, Robinson searching for win No. 1 as old rivals meet again

      Round two of the 2010 Goat football season will take place Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Robinson Rockets field. The Rockets lost their home opener to Alvarado 21-7 last Friday. Coach Brian Lewis has 13 letter winners back from last year’s 2-8, 1-4 squad. Four of them return on offense as starters and seven starters are back for the defensive unit.

Subvarsity Goats fall in openers

      The Groesbeck Goat junior varsity and freshmen teams lost their opening games last Thursday. They were both on the road. The JV’s lost to the Waco High JV 36-12.
