Goats begin to hit stride with healthy lineup

In reality, it doesn’t really matter how a team does early in a basketball season, especially when many of the players are just coming out of football. So it takes a little time to get up to speed and that’s why so many teams chalk up two or three tournaments under their belt before the start of district competion. For the Groesbeck Goats (10-13) it’s starting to seem that their time is now. The team is really beginning to peak with the return of two starters back in their lineup, giving the Goats more opportunities to run full throttle with their offense and maintain the trapping, end-to-end pressure defense coach Reed loves to run.
