Track began on Thursday, February 26th for the Groesbeck Goats at Riesel. Four individual girls and one girls relay team placed in their side of the meet. For the Groesbeck boys, six boys and three relay teams captured medals. The girls are coached by Alice Keeton. The boys are coached by Ned Barrier. This week, they compete today, Thursday, March 5th at Fairfield. More ... Groesbeck High will have three of its boy lifters going to the regional powerlifting meet in next Saturday, March Angel Palomin has the top ranking in the 242 pound weight class in Division 2 of Region 2 with a best effort total lift of 1555 pounds.
