Three Goat Lifters Headed To Regional Meet

Groesbeck High will have three of its boy lifters going to the regional powerlifting meet in next Saturday, March

Angel Palomin has the top ranking in the 242 pound weight class in Division 2 of Region 2 with a best effort total lift of 1555 pounds. Dustin Gordon is tied for ninth in the 198 pound class. His top total lift is 1205 pounds . Sean Pagel is third in the 165 pound class with a total lift of 1145 pounds.

Alternates from Groesbeck are Kyle Cortines in the 242 pound division and Marc Waller in the Super Heavy Weight division.

They are coached by Luke Allison. Palomin, Pagel, Waller and Gordon are all seniors. Cortines is a junior.
