COMMUNITY CALENDAR 3-NIGHT REVIVAL March 25-27 Greater Grace Tabernacle COGIC, located at 610 Sabine in Groesbeck, will have a threenight revival beginning at 7 p.m. each night. The revival began on Wednesday of this week and will run through Friday. The revival will be conducted by Pastor James Lucas and Patsy Lucas. CITYWIDE GARAGE SALE Saturday, March 28Groesbeck's Spring Citywide Garage Sale will be held all over town in both the business and residential parts of town. ARTS & CRAFTS Saturday, March 28Groesbeck's Spring Arts & Crafts Show will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Groesbeck Civic Center. The deadline for reserving booth space is March 13. BAND IN BEN HUR Saturday, March 28The Past Due Band will be performing at C.J.s Saloon in Ben Hur from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. JUNIOR PARENT MEETING Monday, March 30A Groesbeck High School junior parent meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. at Doss Warehouse, located south of the high school on Highway 14. SENIOR PARENT MEETING Tuesday, March 31There will be Groesbeck High School senior parent meeting at 5:30 p.m. at Mi Rancho to discuss Project Graduation. Parents of all GHS seniors are invited to attend. Seniors are reminded to turn in three or four favorite photos for the senior slide show to Mrs. Waller by April 15. These photos can be from baby to present day. TOWN HALL MEETING Tuesday, March 31West Lake Limestone Volunteer Fire Department will have Town Hall Meeting at 7 p.m. at Old Union Community Center to discuss and answer questions concerning the Emergency Services District proposal that will be on the May 9 ballot. Anyone having questions is urged to attend. EASTER PAGEANT April 3-5First Baptist Church in Mexia will present its annual pageant at 7 p.m. each night. A $100 reward will be presented during the Coolidge Mesquite Tree Festival on May 1 for the best beard grown between April 13 and May 1. The award will be presented at 7:30 p.m. during the Variety Show held at the Coolidge Civic Center. Sign up for the beard contest from 5-7 p.m. April 13 at the Coolidge Senior Citizens Center. There will be a $5 entry fee. LIMESTONE COUNTY FAIR April 15-20The Limestone County Fair and Youth Livestock Show will be held at the new Show Barn on Longbridge Road in Groesbeck. RIVER CLEANUP Saturday, April 25Volunteers are needed to help clean the Navasota River between the Confederate Reunion Grounds and Fort Parker State Park.
