A Positive View Peggy McCaleb
Peggy McCaleb Peggy McCaleb was born in Houston and lived there 28 years and then married. She and James, her husband of 38 years, moved to Kosse and she's never tarried. Because she quit school to care for her ill father, Peggy did not receive her high school diploma until 1996 - much later.
She has worked at two home health agencies for a while - Gerland Home Health, 5 years, and Heart of Texas Home Health Care, 3, years as to help is her style.
Peggy then added being a cook and waitress in Kosse to her professions. She worked for Groesbeck Independent Schools as a cook and manager for an 11 year session.
For the past one and half years, Peggy has been employed at the Senior Services Project. He title is Site Manager whose duties include many subjects. She assists the Senior Project Director, Ann Vinson. Peggy does use her computer knowledge, business skills, and artistic vision - she decorates the building for all senior celebrations.
Peggy skillfully manages the kitchen and the three member staff. She calls bingo, organizes activities, greets seniors with a smile and shares a laugh.
Peggy and James have a daughter, Janie Coffey, and a son, Michal McCaleb. J.J., Maddie, Bryant, Madison, and Emalea are grandchildren of which they are proud.
Peggy belongs to the Groesbeck Christian Fellowship. She also finds time for art, reading, and skillfully crochets. She states it is a joy being with all of her family. Her mother, Jo Cooke, moved next door to her recently. With her family she manages frequent cookouts and swimming parties.
There is never a dull moment in Peggy McCaleb's life. From enjoying the seniors, family, and being a devoted wife, she has a loving and giving personality which is based on her commitment to her faith, friends and family.
