Recent visitors to Groesbeck were Tracy Hutson and her children Reeve and Morgan Stonecipher from Inman, Kansas. Visiting Kansas and accompanying them to Texas were Morgan's best friends, Bex Kentfield (from Dorset, England) and Yiseal Shin (from Korea). They all have recently lived in Sri Lanka. Tracey Morgan returned to the states two years ago. Reeve just joined his Mom and sister and will attend Northeastern in Boston his fall. After visiting her aunts and uncles Bennie and Betty Stevens and Dan and Barbara Burleson and other family members, they left for South Texas to spend time with Tracy's parents, Bill and Patsy (Burleson) Hutson. All will return to Kansas soon and Bex and Yiseal will head back to Sri Lanka with fond memories of Groesbeck and the wide open spaces of Texas. Pictured, left to right, are Tracy Hutson, Bex (Rebecca Kentfield) , Yiseal Shin, Morgan and Reeve Stonecipher. (Courtesy photo)

I vaguely remember giving my mother and father a fit by getting lost. Near our house was a stock pond (tank) that had all kinds of fish, frogs, and snakes.

Historical Event of the Century
