Kamaro H. High

Kamaro Hardnett High, 32, of Mexia passed away in the Parkview Regional Hospital ER among loving family and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 1, in the First Baptist Church, Mexia, with Rev, Ronald Coleman and Rev. Cleo High officiating.

Interment was in the Laurel Land Cemetery, Dallas.

Kamaro was a 1996 graduate of Mexia High School, a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Mexia.

He opened Buni & Klyde Barber Shop in downtown Mexia in 2001.

Survivors include his son: Dominic Chapman, Mexia; his father, Ronald High and wife, LaDonna of Dallas; his mother: Debra Hardnett Moffitt and husband, Darnell of Dallas; his guardian parents, Rev. Cleo and Debra High, Mexia; his brothers: Shuman High, Michael High, and Johnny High; his sisters: Shalunda Hardnett, LaShetha Brown, Nicole Brown, Shacoba High, and LaKechia Johnson; his niece and nephew, Shay Jones and Jerrold Rudd ,Jr.

Pallbearers were: Antoine Wicker, Rodney Smith, Chris Shephard, Nakia Scott, David Jones, Germany Williams, Anthony Johnson and Tommy Dawkins.
