Safe and Savory Grilling This summer, the Beef Checkoff Program teamed-up with the Kroger Company to launch a "Practice Safe Summer Grilling" campaign that offers consumers safe preparation and cooking tips for grilling beef. The nation-wide campaign is in more than 2,400 stores and incudes consumer brochures, fact sheets and retail store signs. Additional checkoff-funded campaigns such as the "Safe and Savory at 160 Degrees", encourages consumer to prepare beef the safe and savory way in efforts to minimize food safety issues. |
