4-H Major Show Swine

Tag Orders Deadline

Sept. 16, 2009 All Limestone County 4-H members wishing to show swine projects at the 2010 Major Shows in Texas need to order tags by contacting the Texas AgriLife Extension Office at 254-729-5314 by Sept. 16, 2009. Each tag will cost $7.00 and the tags will not be ordered until payment is received.

Hubbard City Hay Show

Sept. 19, 2009 Texas AgriLife Extension Services in Limestone and Hill Counties have joined to host the annual Hubbard City Hay Show. Show will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Hubbard Livestock Auction Barn. Judging will begin at 10 a.m. with lunch at 11:30 followed by a program at 12:15 p.m.on Price of Fertilizer and Most Efficient Use of Nitrogen, Timing of Fertilizer Application, and Roundup Alfalfa Production.

FCGBA Great Goat Gather Open Pen Sale

2009 Leon County Hay Show Samples Deadline

Oct. 2, 2009 Hay samples are being accepted for the 2009 Leon County Hay Show. The annual event will be Monday, Oct. 26 at the Buffalo Civic Center. Deadline for submitting samples is Friday, Oct. 2.
