The voters of Limestone County and the state of Texas will go to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 3, to vote for or against 11 proposed constitutional amendments. In Groesbeck Independent School District, voters will also go to the polls to vote on an $8 million bond package, and city of Groesbeck voters will vote on a proposed 2 percent increase in the city’s hotel/motel tax. Ann Hackbarth, a family nurse practitioner and a native of Taylor, has joined the staff at Family Medicine Center. She started her position at the Groesbeck clinic in September. The Groesbeck High School varsity football team lost more than the game in last Friday night’s match up with Connally High School. The Goats played some of their best football all season until a fight broke out in the third quarter.
