First Baptist Church of Groesbeck Golden Koins to Myrtle Beach, SC
The First Baptist Church of Groesbeck Golden Koins went on a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC Oct. 12-16. A great time was had by all from flying on 4 jets to all you can eat buffets. They went to the Hopsewee Plantation and for walks on the beach of the Atlantic ocean in which everyone had a view of from their balcony at the Landmark Resort Hotel. They saw shows at Alabama Theatre, Dixie Stampede, Palace Theatre, and the Carolina Opry House. Clayton Griggs won the horseshoe toilet seat throwing contest at the Dixie Stampede. They went on a shopping trip to Broadway at the Beach and toured the beautiful Ripley’s Aquarium. A great time was had by all. A special thanks to Brother Clayton Griggs for the time and effort he put into organizing this amazing trip.

The Golden Koins senior citizens extends and invitation to all denominations in Limestone County and has a covered dish luncheon every 2nd Thursday of each month at noon in the fellowship hall.
