Coolidge Junior High stays unbeaten

For the second time this year the Coolidge Junior High Yellowjackets soundly whipped the Avalon young Eagles, 26-6, Thursday, Oct. 29th, in Avalon. This kept the guys undefeated (6-0 season, 4-0 district) and can wrap up the District 14 title next Thursday, November 5, in Trinidad. That would be the third straight district crown for the junior Jackets.

Joe Brown paced the offensive effort with 3 touchdowns and Dennis Reeves had one. Great defense was displayed by Victor Miles, Deandre Kirven, Carlos Samaniego, and Brown.
