First U.M.C.- Fall Festival very successful

The First United Methodist Church of Groesbeck had a very successful Fall Festival.

The Fall Festival began on last Thursday and concluded on Sunday with a live auction.

The Fall Festival included four luncheons, a silent auction, a live raffle for a Goat quilt, and a raffle for a $500 Visa Credit Card.

Eleanor Clark was present during the weekend to sign her books.

The winner of the Goat Quilt Raffle was Jackie Levingston. The winner of the $500 Visa Credit Card was Christina Price.

The church thanks the Fall Festival Committee for the excellent job in organizing this event. Many thanks to all who worked and contributed items to the Festival.

And, many thanks to the entire community for the wonderful support given to the Fall Festival.

The proceeds will go toward college scholarships, improvements for the church, and a donation to the Rebuild Dennis Chapel United Methodist Church Fund.
