Seventh and Eighth grade Volleyball beat Cadets

Last week, the 7th grade Red team won an exciting match against Connally 25-15, 21-25, 25-21. The entire team showed great hustle and teamwork. Here are the contributions of the entire team.

Hailye Reynolds had 19 points, 9 aces, 2 kills, 1 tip; Maricela Cruz had 4 points; Skye Foy had 3 points, 4 kills; Katia Jiminez 4 points, 3 aces, 1 tip, 1 kill; Micaela Gallagher had 3 points.

Harlee Bennett had 4 points, 1 tip; Ashleigh Pelton had 2 points, 2 aces; Bailey Johnson had 1 point, many digs and passes; Morgan McQueen had 3 points, 1 ace, good passing.

The 8th grade Red team was also victorious by the score of 25-16, 25-14. Jamie Madison was the leading scorer with 10 points and 4 aces. Offensively, Madison and Mandy Adams had 2 kills each, with Raelynn Swinnea, Shataria Asberry, Jacoya McCullen, Gracie Hedrick and Kathleen O’Kelley added 1 each.

Defensively, Skyler Weishuhn, Haley Griggs, Meagan McLean and Harlie Badgett all had great passing.
