Kindergarten students participated in a science experiment on Friday, October 23rd. Mrs. Stevens talked to the classes about the properties of matter and sublimation. Students discovered how dry ice sublimates inside a sealed bottle.They learned that the gas form takes up more space, thus expanding the bottle and causing it to explode. More ... On October 5th, J.T. Carter, 17, of Thornton, earned the rank of Eagle Scout. The ceremony honoring his achievement is scheduled for December 5th at the Word of Life Family Worship Center in Groesbeck. The Lady Goats Volleyball team rounded out district on Tuesday, October 27th. The team hosted the Robinson Lady Rockets. They needed to get a big win at home to keep hopes for the playoffs alive.
