Taylor Webb is candidate for 2009 Distinguished Youth of Texas Program

To Whom It May Concern:

Hello my name is Taylor Webb; I am a candidate in the 2009 Distinguished Youth of Texas Program. I have the opportunity to participate in San Antonio November 27 – 29, 2009. I will be judged on my Scholastic Record, School Activities & Community Service, Interviewed, Personality Projection and a PowerPoint Presentation- (Recycling-Save Our Planet), to receive a $1,000 U.S. Savings Bond, trophy, sash and other awards.

I have the opportunity to participate in the 2009 Distinguished Youth of Texas Program if I have Sponsor(s) or donations. I need help to pay for the participation fees of $1,400. I would like to know if you would sponsor me.

Any Company or Individual that donates $350 or more will have Your Name and/or Company’s Name listed in the Program Book and Groesbeck Journal next to my name and picture and a picture of us together.

Things I have been or currently involved in:

UIL-Number Sense 4th and 5th Grade; Victory Baptist Church Youth Song Leader; Awana; Volunteering at Lords Storehouse, 1st United Methodist Church and Victory Baptist Church , Mission/ Outreach Program at 1st United Methodist Church and Victory Baptist Church, working at H.O. Whitehurst and Enge-Washington schools with Dyslexia and Special Needs Children, 3rd place with “How Can I Say the Planet” with Luminant Writing Contest at School, Tennis, Soccer, Dance-Hip-hop, Jazz and Ballet Edge Dance Company

To get to this level I had to have a recommendation from a teacher, coach, youthactivity director, or newspaper announcement of achievements such as being listed on the Honor Roll. I was recommended because of my all A Honor Roll while in the 4th grade and volunteering in my community.
