In about 1915 Mollie Fullen Cannon, widow of Willis L. Cannon, built a beautiful two-story home in Thornton next to the church of which she was a member, the Church of Christ. She lived there until her death in 1928. For several years after 1919 her daughter, Effie Cannon Barron, widow of Cap Barron (who died in 1918) lived with her mother. More ...
