Evan L. Winstead

Evan L. Winstead, 36, of Groesbeck, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Robertson County. He was born on July 15, 1973 in Hearne, Texas to Marvin R. Winstead, Jr. and Neva June Walker Winstead.

He was employed in the oil field industry and had been a resident of Groesbeck for the past year previously living in Leon County. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his fiancé, Renee Hayes of Groesbeck; mother, Neva June Winstead of Groesbeck; father and step mother, Marvin R. Winstead, Jr. and Charlotte Winstead of Marquez; children, Clinton L. Winstead, Justin Taylor Gorden, Brittany Nicole Gorden and Megan Renee Gorden all of Groesbeck; sisters and brother-in-law, Debra Rene Dodd and Kelly of Cayuga; Lisa June Oliver of Colordo Springs, Co.; brothers and sisterin law, Marvin Nathan Winstead and Joann of Richmond; Billy Wayne Oliver of Littleton, Co.; grandchild, Eli Gorden; nieces and nephews: Alyshia, Ashley, Nicole, Ginny, Samantha, Carly, Kristina, James and Justin; grand niece and nephews, Summer Rain and Hunter Lee.

Services were held on Saturday, November 21, at the Marquez Baptist Church. Bro. Ray Payne officiated. Burial followed in the Winn Cemetery in Leon County.
