Laura Cannon was the daughter of J. Allen and Althea A. Ray of Thornton. She taught in Thornton schools several years. She was married to Lewis Templeton Cannon, one of the three sons of John W. Cannon, who was a brother of Willis L. Cannon. In the 1930’s Lewis and Laura Cannon moved from Thornton to Kingsville in Kleburg County. They had one child, Lewis T. Cannon, Jr. More ...
