Friday, Jan. 15 The West Over 40 Dance will be from 7-10 p.m. at West Fraternal Hall, 1000 N. I-35 in West. Music by Texas Heartbeat and admission is $6.

Tuesday, Jan. 19 We will be having a parents meeting to discuss plans for fund-raisers and the end-of-the-year party at 6 p.m. at Enge-Washington Campus.

Saturday, Feb. 6 The Mexia Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will hold its annual banquet at the Cowboy Club. Refreshments will begin at 5 p.m. and dinner will be about 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices are presale, $50 single, $75 couple; After Jan. 30, $75 single, $100 couple.
