Thursday, Feb. 4 Navarro County to host College Day 2010 from 1-3 p.m. at Gibson Hall on the Corsicana campus. The event give high school and college students a chance to start planning for their careers by visiting with college and university representatives from across the state, including Baylor, Stephen F. Austin, East Texas Baptist, Sam Houston State, Dallas Baptist, Texas A&M-Commerce, TCU, Texas Southern, North Texas, Texas Wesleyan, UT-Tyler, West Texas A&M and the University of Dallas.

Saturday, March 27 Limestone Medical Center will sponsor ‘Run for the Health of It’ beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Groesbeck City Park. Entry is $15 before March 20 and $20 on race day. Pre-registered participants will receive a free T-shirt. Proceeds benefit Limestone Medical Center’s Relay for Life team and the American Cancer Society.
