Mary R. Mouton

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home in Kaplan honoring the life of Mary R. Mouton, 79, who died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Limestone Medical Center in Groesbeck, Texas.

She was laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Paul Roy Eleazar officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers were Mickey Girard Jr., T.A. Shockley, Scottie Mouton, Johnny Mouton, Freddie Gaspard, Robbie Tucker, Richard Frederick and Chrisphin Broussard.

She is survived by four sons, Russell Girard and his wife, Peggy of Kaplan, Mickey Girard and his wife, Sandra of Irving, Texas, John Mouton Jr. and his wife, Frances of Groesbeck, Texas and Michael Sim Mouton of Kaplan; four daughters, Linda and her husband, Freddie Gaspard of Kaplan, Lorrie and her husband, Richard Frederick of Texas, Tina Mouton of Kaplan and Tammy and her husband, T.A. Shockley of Groesbeck, Texas; fifteen grandchildren; and seven great grand-children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Mouton; her parents, Sim and Marie Landry Broussard; her grandson, Thomas Doyle Mouton; three brothers, Jules, Alton and Armen Broussard; and one sister, Laurine Pardos.
