Artist-In-Residence Program at Pearce Museum The Pearce Museum is excited to present its next Artist-in-Residence program scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 26 and 27, on the Navarro College Corsicana campus. The two-day program will be hosted by Western landscape painter Brenda Howell. She is one of only 17 women artists featured in the museum’s permanent collection, and therefore is a perfect choice for the upcoming workshop. Howell is best known for her beautiful landscapes of the Grand Canyon; her work, “Afternoon Shadow Desert View,” hangs in the gallery. The workshop will begin at 9 a.m. and end about 4 p.m., both days, with a reception and celebration to close out the event Saturday afternoon. Lunch is on-your-own both Friday and Saturday. Space is limited, so don’t miss out on this unique opportunity! The fee to attend the two-day Artist-in-Residence Program with Brenda Howell is $85 for museum members and $105 for non-members. The deadline to register is March 15. For more information and to register, contact Allison Chew at (903) 875-7437, or allison.chew@navarrocollege. edu. |
