The Runnin’ Goats were at home on Tuesday January 26th against the Robinson Rockets. The Rockets are presently 5th in district but have played several of the top teams in district closely. More ... Nine boot campers ran in the Miracle Match Marathon Relay and Half Marathon on Jan. 31st. The cold temperatures couldn’t slow them down. The relays were made of teams of 4, each running anywhere from 5 to 8 miles. The half marathon was a race of 13.1 miles in length. More ... The Lady Goats began the second half of district 19-3A play this week. They started the week on Tuesday playing the defending state champion Robinson Lady Rockets in the Goat gymnasium. More ... The Groesbeck power lifting program got kicked off this last week with a trip to Blooming Grove. The squad is coached this year by 1st year Goat coach Mike Scott. He is being helped by Frankie Smith. More ... The Groesbeck Softball League will begin to hold open practice on Monday nights beginning February 15th at 6:00 p.m. at the Groesbeck City Park field- weather permitting. The first registration day for the 2010 season will be this Saturday, February 6th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Swick’s BBQ and Limestone Video.
