Coolidge School Board To meet Thursday night

The Coolidge ISD school board will meet on this Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.

Board training will be included in the night’s activities.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1. Call to order and prayer. 2. Public forum.

3. Reading of minutes.

4. Accept/Reject: A. Activity fund (Student); B. Finance report; C. Budget amendments; D. Pay bills.

5.Discuss the Necessity of a Declaration of a Reduction in Force for the 2010 School Year due to Financial Exigency/Program Change.

6. Accept/Reject: Declaration of a Financial Exigency for the 2010-11 school year due to Financial Exigency/Program Change.

7. Accept/Reject: Implementation of a Reduction in Force for the 2010-11 school year due to a Financial Exigency as per Board Policy DFF (Local).

8. Accept/Reject: Determination of the Employment Areas to be affected with implementation of a reduction in force for the 2010-11 school year.

9. Accept/Reject: Property/ casualty insurance bid.

10. Accept/Reject: Coolidge Housing Authority Waiver for payment in lieu of taxes (PILOT).

11. Accept/Reject: Any action necessary to proceed with the repair of Coolidge High School.

12. Principal Reports: A. Elementary -- 1. Enrollment; 2. Attendance. B. Secondary -- 1. Enrollment; 2. Attendance; 3. Late Work Policy Effective 2010-11.

13. Superintendent’s Reports: A. High School Building Repair; B. Financing the High School Building Repair; C. Consider Selling School Bus; D. Report from Lochridge-Priest; E. Employee Pay Adjustment; F. Optional Flexible Year Program.

14. Resignations.

15. Accept/Reject: Full-time load of determination of less than half-time employment of employee.

16. Accept/Reject: Recommendations for Employment 2010-11.

17. Accept/Reject: Employ staff for 2009-10.
