Services Held for Barbara Wietzikoski
Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2007 at the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Williams and Rev. Fred Sain officiating. Interment followed at Faulkenberry Cemetery.
Barbara was born February 23, 1932 in LaSalle, Limestone County, Texas. On April 19, 1951 she married Raymond Wietzikoski. She was a legal secretary and business manager at Raymond’s Shell Station.
She is survived by her husband Raymond Wietzikoski of Groesbeck; two sons Kenneth Wietzikoski and wife Karen of Groesbeck, Mike Wietzikoski and wife Ginger; four grandchildren Jordan Wietzikoski and Christopher Wietzikoski of Groesbeck, TX, Jace Wietzikoski of Austin, TX, Kyle Wietzikoski of Navasota, TX.
Pallbearers were Anthony Wietzikoski, Flynt McLean, Craig Champion, Jr., Dean Curry, Russell Black, Bubba Clay.

Funeral Services for Chas. C. Collingsworth
Funeral services for Charles C. (Chuck) Collingsworth, 82, of Mexia were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007 in Blair – Stubbs Chapel in Mexia. Rev. Ed Spivey, former pastor of First Baptist Church officiated with full military honors and interment followed in the Mexia Cemetery.
Mr. Collingsworth was born February 24, 1925 in Bristow, Oklahoma to George Newt and Clarabelle Miller Collingsworth and passed away on December 27, 2007 in the Mexia hospital. He served in the Air Force during World War II, retiring from the military in 1966 and then worked as a supervisor in administration at Mexia State School for 22 years. He was a longtime member and deacon in First Baptist Church in Mexia and a member of the Mexia Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Evalyn (Sunny) Collingsworth of Mexia and a brother, L. E. Collingsworth of Somerville.
Members of the military will serve as pallbearers.

Funeral Services for Danny D. Pounder
Funeral services for Danny Dwayne Pounder, 41 of Mexia were held 11 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2007 in Blair- Stubbs Chapel. Rev. Rick Gray will Officiate with interment to follow in Mexia Cemetery.
Mr. Pounder was born March 11, 1966 in Wortham and passed away in Mexia On December 22, 2007. He was employed in air conditioner production at Ahlstom in Groesbeck. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Danny Wayne and Sandra Pounder of Mexia; Mother and step-father, Carolyn J. Pounder-Talbot and Gary Talbot, Children: Amber and Danielle Pounder of Waco, Taylor and Kaitlynn Pounder of Mexia; two step-children: Cherish Hicks of Mexia and B. G. Hicks of Albuquerque, New Mexico, two grand children; D. J. Cook and J. D. Cook, sister, Lisa Pounder of Waco, stepbrother, Ben Talbot of Burnet, Step-sister, Sarah Haynes-Talbot of Tucson, Arizona, grandmother, Edna Ferguson of Cleburne and number of nieces and Nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Steven Starnes, Dillon Dabney, Steven Dabney, Coby Sterling, Wesley Kuehn, and Heath Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyrone Ethridge and B. G. Hicks.

Services Held Dec. 24 for Dorothy Hilscher
Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Hilscher were held Monday, December 24, 2007 at 2 p.m. in Blair – Stubbs Chapel. Billy Ridge officiated with interment to following in the Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin. Visitation with the family was from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hilscher was born February 28, 1926 in Curry, Texas to Leonard and Veola Cleere Teer and passed away on December 22, 2007 at her residence in Mexia . She was baptized Sept. 15, 1939. She was a home-maker and a full time minister for Jehovah’s Witnesses for over two years..
She is survived by her son, Clifford Meredith and wife, Lindy of Groesbeck, Daughter, Glenda Smalley and husband, Elmer of Forney, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and one on the way, sister, Nita Johnson and husband, Jake of Mexia, Brother, Bobby Teer of Kerens and sister in law: Deloras Teer of Temple.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, LaDayle Johnson and Freddie Teer, sister, Margaret Rogers and three husbands, Norman Ward, Clifford Meredith, and George Hilscher.
Pallbearers are Marcus Turner, Mika Morgan, Tony Vilaros, Leon Talent, Patrick Gregg And Johnny Rogers.

Willie Faye Howell Funeral Services
FORT WORTH — Willie Faye Howell, 91, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, in Groesbeck. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Arlington Heights United Methodist Church. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park.
Memorials: Come and See Radio Ministry, P.O. Box 1265, Marlin 76661. Willie Faye Howell was born Nov. 29, 1916, in Bazette. Her devotion to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was the very expression of her life. She was helpmate to her husband in his most effective ministry in the Methodist church. The influence upon her children’s lives has had manifestations far and beyond the family circle.
A tireless worker in the church and a commitment to friends in all the communities in which she and her family lived made her life a positive influence upon all she met. Her effect upon even casual acquaintances was always profound. She exhibited courage in her life that could only come from a devout and all-pervasive trust and love of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Maggart B. Howell Sr., in 1983; and her son, Maggart B. Howell, in 1960.
Survivors: Daughter, Ruth Anniece Robbins and husband, Thomas Q.; grandchildren, Thomas Q. Robbins and wife, Shannon, John C. Robbins and wife, Susan, Joel Mark Robbins and wife, Christie, Rebecca Skinner and husband, Jon, and Faye Robbins; great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Caitlyn Su, Rachel, Sam, Joel Brandon, Sarah Connie, J.C. and Hudson; brother-in-law, Wayland Howell and wife, Mary Ann; sisters-in-law, Eleanor McClennen and husband, Elton and Frances Howell Rudko; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
