- Frankie K. Dean Services held November 2
Mrs. Frankie K. Dean of Coolidge, Texas went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 27, 2007 in Parkview Regional Hospital, Mexia, Texas. Viewing will be Thursday, November 1, 2007 from 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 2, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the First Baptist Church, 500 E. Carthage where Rev. Marcus Sheffield is pastor. Rev Larry Holden, Pastor of First Baptist Church Coolidge will officiate. The body will lie in state at the church from 12:00 Noon until the service begins at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in the Coolidge Cemetery.
Mrs. Dean was born in Limestone County, Texas and graduated from Dunbar High School. She married Jerry Dean of Coolidge and has worked at Mexia State School, Greenville Headstart and Mexia Headstart.
Frankie is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Moss and Cleo Haynes; a brother: Harry Haynes, Grandparents: Alma Mack, Roberta Willis Freeman, Mose Moss and Joshua Mack.
Those who will cherish her memory most are:
Her husband: Jerry Dean, Coolidge, Texas; Her sons: Charles Jackson, Mexia, TX and Michael Dean, McKinney, TX; Her daughters: Roberta Lockhart, Ft. Worth, TX; Desiree’ Dean, Mexia, TX and Angela Jackson, Greenville, TX; Her brother: Perry Haynes and wife, Rita , Mexia, TX; Her sisters: Mary Ann Johnson and husband, Larry, Corsicana, TX; and Lena Jackson, Mexia, TX; Six Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers are: Samuel Mack, Reginald Mack, Rayford Mack, Jr., Courtney Gamble, James Freeman and Billy Jack Freeman, Jr.

Funeral Services Held Nov. 2 for Mildred Gregory
Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Mel Bates Gregory, 79, of Houma, La., were held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 2, 2007 at Church of Christ in Groesbeck. Richard Williams, pastor, officiated with interment following in Cobb Cemetery.
Mrs. Gregory was born on February 6, 1928 in Thornton to Ira Ward and Velma Nona Clancy Bates and passed away in Kingwood Hospital on October 30, 2007. She was a Homemaker, active member of Board of Directors of United Way and board member of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council, and member of Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Gregory Hicks of Kingwood, Anita Gail Gregory Smith of Austin and Carrie Gregory Gaiennie and husband, George of Alexandria, La., 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Haskell Gregory, siblings, Glenna Juanell Bates, Zelma Bates Cox and Margie Bates Nelson, sons, Michael Emerson Gregory, William David Gregory and Haskell Donald Gregory.

Funeral Services Held Nov. 1 for Evelyn Lebkowsky
Funeral services for Evelyn C. Lebkowsky were held on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Littlepage Funeral Home Chapel in Mart. Officiating were her nephew, Rev. Johnny Lee Curry, and her pastor, Rev. Paul Briggs. Burial followed in the Axtell Cemetery.
Mrs. Lebkowsky was born on July 30, 1920 to C.C. and Mary Curry and passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2007 in Waco. She lived most of her life in McLennan County. Mrs. Lebkowsky retired in 1980 after 23 years with Owens-Illinois Glass Plant in Waco. She was a member of the Axtell Baptist church. Evelyn was known as Hoppie by most people. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Lebkowsky was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William Lebkowsky, three grandchildren, one sister, and three brothers.
She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Skains of Axtell, Evelyn Faye Ellis and husband Frazier of McGregor, Marcile McCrary and husband Jack of Aquilla, two sons, William (Bill) Lebkowsky and wife Drenda of Hallsburg and Ernest Wayne Lebkowsky and wife Tammy of Lorena. Also two sisters, Edna Clay of Ennis and Olean Baulch of Groesbeck, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, seventeen great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were John Garrett, Danny (Bubba) Skains, Kevin Lebkowsky, John Lebkowsky, Charlie Lebkowsky and Brandon Lebkowsky.

Mona H. Stanberry Succumbs Last Week
Mona Stanberry, 81, of Waco, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 30, 2007. She had been a resident of Quality Care nursing home for the past five years. At Mrs. Stanberry's request her body was cremated with no service.
She was born October 4, 1926 in Groesbeck, to Emmett and Katie Curry Howell where she attended school. She graduated from LaVega High School and married the love of her life, Tommy Stanberry, Jr. on December 4, 1943, at LaVega Baptist Church in Bellmead. They had one son, Tommy, III.
Mona affectionately known as "Budgie" by her family was loved by all who knew her and will be sorely missed. Mrs. Stanberry was a longtime employee of Morris Jewelers in downtown Waco and retired from Westview national Bank. She was a member of Park Lake Drive Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step mother, Viola Howell; her husband; her son; her sisters, Mildred Stevens, Melba Capps and Mary Kate Rasco.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, James Howell and wife, Charlene of Robinson; brother in law, Bobby Thompson; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Linda Rogers Tucker of Mandeville, La.

Funeral Services Held for Frank Reynolds
Frank Reynolds, 80, of Lake Limestone passed away Wednesday October 31, 2007 at Limestone Medical Center.
Memorial services were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 03, 2007 in the Old Union Church of Christ with Bro. Glenn Easterly officiating.
Mr. Reynolds was born June 24, 1927 to Herbert and Elenor (Holmes) Reynolds in Nyack, New York. He married Wanda Stewart on April 15, 1972 in Houston, Texas. He was self employed, retiring in 1993.
Survivors include his wife Wanda Reynolds of Lake Limestone; three daughters Carolyn Williams of Cypress, TX, Susan Riley of Tomball, TX, Kathleen Harvey of Lacy, WA; step daughter Carleen Tetrault of Somerville, TX; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters Elenor Ihnen of Summerville, S. C. and Charlotte Centolanza; brother Henry Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services held for Jarrod Lee Rub
Funeral services for Mr. Jarrod Rub were on Saturday, November 3, 2007, at 2:00p.m. at Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home in Jewett. Bro. Billy Bob Evans will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Seale-Round Prairie Cemetery in Robertson County. Mr. Rub passed away on Monday, October 29, 2007, in Elkhart, Indiana. He was born in Houston and attended school there. He became disabled due to complications from an aneurism and remained partially paralyzed most of his life. He was also a recipient of a kidney transplant. Jarrod worked numerous times as a volunteer giving disability awareness programs at various elementary schools. He also served as a volunteer for the Easter Seals and worked at a nursing home while living in Ohio. He was always a Texan at heart. Jarrod loved the Dallas Cowboys and the University of Texas Longhorns. Prior to his disability, he was a member of the Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He is survived by his mother, Frankie Jean Zekan & husband Bill of Jewett; one brother, Allyn Rub of Llano; two sisters, Karyn Schaffner of Montgomery and Sharyn Hanson & husband Ron of Jewett; two step-brothers, Bryan Zekan and William Zekan both of Austin; one step-sister, Jeanne Bradford of Houston; maternal grandparents, Travis & Elsa Carlisle of Marquez; nine nieces & nephews, Jeffrey Wimp, Jessy Schaffner, Georgia Schaffner, Taylor Hanson, Travis Hanson, Ashlee Rub, Geraldine Rub, Anna Zekan, and Brandon Bradford. Mr. Rub was preceded in death by his father, George Allyn Rub; paternal grandparents, Arthur & Geraldine Rub; and maternal grandmother, Louise Petty Carlisle;

Funeral Service for Joyce Raye Isbell
Joyce Raye Isbell, age 77, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2007. She was born in Terrell, Texas on June 11, 1930 to parents Joseph Ashworth and Faye (Calvin) Ashworth. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and business partner who will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Isbell, Jr., two sisters Libby King and Linda Fields, mother Faye Bishop, and father Joseph Ashworth.
Joyce is survived by her daughters, Cathy Isbell Koenig and husband Don of Groesbeck and Judy Isbell of Florence; grandchildren, David Koenig and wife Jennifer of Nacogdoches, Karen Kimble and husband Joey of Groesbeck, Jennifer Fielden and husband Brady of Mansfield and Kenny Bishop of Elm Mott; sister, Charla Jo McMillan of Benton, Louisiana; brother, Don Bishop and wife Blinda of Elm Mott; and three great-grandchildren, Tanner, Hayden and Ashlyn Koenig all of Nacogdoches.
The family received guests for a time of visitation from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Young Memorial Chapel in Florence. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 3:30 P.M. at First Baptist Church in Florence with Pastors Troy Allen and Roy Smith officiating. Interment followed at Florence City Cemetery in Florence.
Serving as pallbearers were her nephews Ronnie Knight, Kenny Edgar, Eddie Isbell, Tommy Kanetzky, Douglas Baker and Randy Isbell.
In lieu of flowers the flowers, the family has requested that contributions be sent to Odyssey Hospice, 4201 W. Parmer Bldg. C #100, Austin, Texas 78727.

Services held for Michael William Morgan
Michael Morgan, 59, of Kosse passed away Thursday November 1, 2007 at Scott & White in Temple.
GRAVESIDE services were conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 04, 2007 in the Big Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dale Lehfeldt officiating.
Mr. Morgan was born May 5, 1948 to Jack and Dorothy Morgan in Binghampton, New York. He served in the U. S. Army from 2/20/1967 to 2/19/1970.
Survivors include his son Jacob Morgan of New York; caregiver Flora Flippin of Kosse.
