Ex-Students met Monday to discuss homecoming
The Groesbeck Ex-Students Association met on Monday afternoon to continue making plans for Groesbeck Homecoming 2020 which will be on Friday and Saturday, September 25-26.
Attorney’s office hosts Comprehensive Domestic Violence Training
On Friday, August 28, 2020, the Limestone County Attorney’s Office helped host a full-day Comprehensive Domestic Violence Training for law enforcement officers and other key personnel. This accredited training was held both in-person at the Groesbeck Convention Center and virtually on a Zoom webinar. The hybrid format allowed for more than 160 individuals from Limestone County and across Texas to attend and receive free training on responding to and investigating domestic violence crimes. The training was also hosted by the Institute for Coordinated Community Response, the Family Abuse Center, the Limestone County Sheriff’s Department, and the Groesbeck Police Department.
Grand Jury Indictments
The following indictments were handed down by the Limestone County Grand Jury on Aug. 19. Those listed are not guilty unless and until a court finds otherwise. An indictment simply means there is enough evidence to warrant a trial.
