Shepherd Sayings Mar. 16, 2017
Kosse Baptist Church, Pastor Jack
Jesus prayed that His followers, in every place and for all times, would be in “complete unity”. Christ knew that unless there was “complete unity” among His followers the people of the world would not know that God loved them. (John 17: 23) Paul writing to the churches at Rome, Philippi, Colossae and Ephesus called on them to “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit.” (Eph. 4:3) Obviously, unity “stick-togetherness” in the church, was then and is now “job one” for every spiritual leader. An anonymous writer said, “Unity is job one; if we don't have it, we won't get any other job done.”
