1:15 p.m. Sgt. Bell to 700 block North Ellis for damaged property. Complainant reported building being struck by worker’s vehicle.

2:09 p.m. Sgt. Bell to 300 block South Houston for criminal mischief. Complainant reported storage building windows being broken.

2:25 p.m. Sgt. Bell to police department for credit card abuse. Complainant reported unauthorized use of credit card.

2:30 p.m. Sgt. Bell to call complainant regarding stolen property. Complainant reported vehicle’s temporary tags stolen.

2:58 p.m. Sgt. Bell to State Highway 164 West for reckless driver. Vehicle and driver located. No offense.

3:25 p.m. Sgt. Bell to Briarwood for animal complaint. Complainant reported animal running at large. Owner identified and notified.  Referred to animal control.

10:13 p.m. Officer Alvarado to 1200 block North Ellis for reckless driver complaint. Unable to locate.

11:20 a.m. Officer Hobbs to 300 block West Yeagua for two-vehicle crash

10:56 a.m. Officer Cox to police department for forgery complaint. Complainant reported family member passing checks on closed account.

2:35 p.m. Officer Hobbs to 500 block Henderson Boulevard for suspicious vehicle. Caller reported suspicious vehicle on neighbor’s property. Determined to be contract laborer. No offense.

6:05 p.m. Officer Pantalici to 700 block East Navasota for missing property. Caller reported items missing from her car. Later recalled where items were placed. No offense.

11:25 p.m. Officer Pantalici to 1100 block North Ellis for loud music complaint. Manager reported loud music coming from customer’s room. Customer agreed to turn music down.

February 1, 2018

11:50 a.m. Officer Cox to call complainant regarding burglary and theft that occurred in the 800 block West State. Investigation to continue.

12:30 p.m. Chief Henson and Officer Cox to meet with complainant at police department regarding possible online solicitation
