Groesbeck Heritage Festival cancelled

The Groesbeck Heritage Festival, originally scheduled for the weekend of May 29 through 31 this year, has been cancelled.

"It is with a heavy heart that the Chamber announces that due to continued COVID-19 concerns, and the impact that is has had on the businesses who were sponsoring, participating and hosting, the decision has been made to cancel the 2020 Groesbeck Heritage Festival," organizers with the Groesbeck Chamber of Commerce said. "Public safety and doing what is best for our members is of the utmost consideration, and we hope to be back bigger, and better, next year." The 2021 Groesbeck Heritage Festival is planned for the last weekend of May 28-30, 2021.

The Groesbeck Lions Club has postponed its annual car show from May 30 to August 29. The Car Show is one of the local Lions Club’s biggest events of the year.
