Garden club hears program on fall gardening techniques

The Cynthia Ann Garden Club had its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, November 18, at 1 p.m. at the Groesbeck Woman’s Club. President, Becky Smith welcomed everyone and introduced the program for the day, Fall Gardening: cactus and succulents-year round brought to us by Master Gardener and club member Carolyn Hughes.

The Groesbeck Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting the annual ‘Santa Points’ game for children. Starting Nov. 26 through Dec. 4, children may participate in this game by visiting participating local businesses and receiving their Santa cards and stickers.

The citizens of Limestone County and surrounding areas enjoy a treasure when it comes to health care. The Limestone Medical Center has become renowned for its trauma unit, rehab department, specialty clinic, and imaging services, just to scratch the surface. The hospital weathered the pandemic without laying off a single employee, while daily providing health services at the highest level. Many rural hospitals have not fared as well.
