Texas House Democrats to Meet with New Mexico Governor

Following successful meetings with the governors of California and Illinois, a new delegation of Texas House Democrats left the state this morning for one day to meet with New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham. The meeting continues the Caucus’ national effort to build a firewall against the corrupt, racially- motivated redistricting scheme being forced on Texans by Donald Trump via Greg Abbott and raise awareness of the national implications of their redistricting scam — which aims to protect politicians who slashed health care, food aid, and jobs for Texas families while shifting the burden to our state.

Hello friends, it’s your vagabond newspaper reporter back to give you an update on what we’ve been up to at your favorite Texas newspaper.

If you missed my previous column and are wondering who the heck you’re reading, I’m the hired hand the folks at Moser Community Media (soon to be Texas Local Media, but more on that later) brought in to help run this operation. I’m a career newspaper guy and have worked from one coast to the other – including a stint in dry and dusty West Texas.

Grand Jury Indictments

The following indictments were handed down July 16, by a Limestone County Grand Jury. Those listed are not guilty unless and until a court finds otherwise. An indictment means there is enough evidence to warrant a trial.

This is Milo. Milo was found roaming the McLelland addition. Milo is not wearing a collar or any other identifying information. He seems to be well cared for and understands simple commands. Milo will be microchipped before leaving the shelter.
