Baseball is a team sport and the Groesbeck Goats baseball team qualified for the playoffs and now the individuals on the playoff clinching squad received recognition for their efforts as the District 20-3A awards are handed out.

Groesbeck celebrated the end of the year with its annual Powder Puff Game. In the United States and Canada, powderpuff football games are flag football or touch football games between girls from junior and senior classes or cross-town school rivals.
