2018 Homecoming Class Reunions
Class of 1953
The Class of 1953 will be celebrating their 65th reunion on Saturday September 15 this year and plan to meet after the parade at the Civic Center for the Homecoming Barbecue luncheon.
We will try to have a table for our class and hope everyone will come and enjoy the fellowship and share memories of past School Days! We did not send out invitations so if anyone knows an Ex-Student that might not subscribe to the Journal, please let them know.
Classes of 1954-1959 (combined reunion)
Six Groesbeck High School Classes from the 1950’s will have a combined class reunion during the Homecoming Weekend of Sept. 14-15.
The six classes are the Groesbeck High School Classes of 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, and 1959. The Class of 1958 will be the host class this year. The other classes have been assigned certain responsibilities for the reunion. It is understood that each class is contacting members of their respective classes.The reunion will be on Saturday, September 15, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Club Room of the Groesbeck Convention Center. All class members, their families, and friends are cordially invited.
Class of 1963
The GHS Class of 1963 will meet after the Homecoming barbecue in the meeting room of the Quality Inn, 1012 N. Ellis. Start time for the gathering will be 2:00 pm. All classes and friends are invited and welcome. For additional info call Richard Clay 972-754-9543 or Sylvia London 214-458-0514.
GHS Class of 1968 (50th Class Reunion)
NOTE: The GHS Class of 1968 is one of the special honor class of Homecoming 2018, and the class members will receive their 50-year diplomas during the homecoming weekend. Watch for a more detailed story on the GHS Class of 1968 in the weeks ahead.
The Groesbeck High School of 1968 will meet after the Friday night football at the home of Elizabeth Campbell Reagan. Former Goats are invited to join them. Following the parade and the Ex-Student luncheon on Saturday, the class will meet will meet at the lake home of Room Mother Marveline Jones at Lake Mexia.If you have questions please contact Lea Hardison, 254-747-5578 or Brenda Copeland, 254-652-6774. GHS Class of 1998 (20th Class Reunion)
Calling all Groesbeck High School class of 1998 for 20 year reunion.
Friday September 14: class of 1998 and family will gather and sit together at the Football game.
Saturday September 15: classmates and family invited to join the class in the parade line up at 9:15am for the 20 year reunion float. After the parade we will gather at the city park for a bring your own sack lunch family mixer. 7:00pm: Adult only reunion to be held at 475 LCR 404 Groesbeck, Texas.
