8:00 a.m. Officer Kiser to 400 block West Yeagua for reported 911 open line. Determined to be faulty equipment. No emergency.

2:25 p.m. Officer Kiser to 800 block North Grayson for a reported disturbance. Determined to be verbal only. Resolved on scene.

4:25 p.m. Officer Kiser to 200 block West Navasota for reported residential alarm. Determined to be an accidental trigger. No emergency.

5:25 p.m. Officer Kiser to the city park for a reported suspicious person. Located reported person and determined they were charging a cell phone. No offense.

6:00 p.m. Cpl. Hobbs to 400 block South Ellis for reported criminal trespass notice request. Complainant requested criminal trespass notice be served on terminated employees. Notice executed.

6:35 p.m. Cpl. Hobbs to call citizen for previously found property. Citizen claimed ownership of previously recovered bicycle. Bicycle released to owner.

7:05 p.m. Cpl. Hobbs to 900 block East Navasota for reported civil issues. Complainant and spouse had a dispute over property. Property issue resolved.

7:45 p.m. Cpl. Hobbs to the city park for a reported suspicious person. Reported person located and determined to be waiting for a family member. No offense.

7:10 a.m. Sgt. Bell to 800 block North Grayson for requested follow-up. Complainant reported significant other failing to return property following reported disturbance the previous day.

11:42 a.m. Sgt. Bell to 700 block East Navasota Street for reported burglary of a building. Complainant reported storage building being burglarized. Unknown timeframe. Investigation initiated.

12:19 p.m. Sgt. Bell to 700 block West State for reported disturbance. Determined to be verbal only. Resolved on scene.

2:56 p.m. Sgt. Bell to 900 block Robert Street for a reported theft. Complainant reported receiving delivered package but the contents were missing. Investigation initiated.

9:20 p.m. Officer Pantalici to Allison Street for reported traffic complaint. Complainant reported juveniles operating ATVs on the roadway. Reported person located and issued warning citation.

9:30 p.m. Officer Martin to 800 block West Angeline for reported suspicious vehicle. The complainant reported an unfamiliar vehicle driving in the neighborhood. Unable to locate the reported vehicle.

10:00 p.m. Officer Martin to 700 block McClintic for requested agency assistance. Complainant reported a combative patient. The patient was calm prior to officer arrival.

1:58 a.m. Officer Martin to 600 block Parkside Drive for reported suspicious vehicle. Complainant reported unfamiliar vehicle in the area. Unable to locate reported vehicle.

7:55 p.m. Officer Martin to 300 block East Jacinto for reported animal complaint. Complainant reported animal carcass in roadway. Animal Control notified.

9:10 p.m. Cpl. Hobbs to 400 block North Fannin for reported welfare concern. Complainant requested check of resident. Resident located and determined to be okay.

July 3, 2020

10:25 a.m. Officer Kiser to 200 block North Leon for reported medical alert. Resident testing alarm. No emergency.

1:30 p.m. Officer Kiser to 700 block West State for reported civil issue. Complainant reported dispute with resident over property. Resolved on scene.

4:00 p.m. Officer Kiser to 700 block West Sabine for reported criminal trespass. Complainant requested second party leave the premises. Second-party left prior to officer arrival.

4:35 p.m. Officer Martin to undisclosed address for reported person in mental crisis. Reported person left prior to officer arrival. Unable to locate. Determined to be traveling to another city.

12:30 p.m. Chief Henson to 400 block West State Street for reported disturbance. Caller reported disturbance and requested police assistance. Call was determined to be unfounded.

3:40 p.m. Sgt. Bell to SH 164 West for reported reckless driver. Complainant reported vehicle swerving on roadway. Vehicle and driver located. Driver reported reaching for cell phone. No offense observed.

8:50 p.m. Officer Pantalici to Henderson Boulevard for reported fireworks complaint.

9:05 p.m. Officer Martin to SH 14 North for reported reckless driver. Vehicle and driver located. No offenses observed.

9:25 p.m. Officer Martin to intersection of Tyus and Jacinto for reported fireworks complaint.

9:35 p.m. Officer Pantalici to 700 block East Walker for reported fireworks complaint.

11:10 p.m. Officer Pantalici to 900 block North Tyus for reported fireworks complaint. Fireworks caused grass fire. Suspects fled prior to officer arrival.
