Suspect Arraigned and Bond Set in Relation to Alleged Incident Involving Mexia High School Student

 

On January 26, 2020, Mr. Conrad Flusche, was arraigned before Limestone County Justice of the Peace Ray Jones on the charge of Improper Relationship Between Educator / Student.  Bond was set at $75,000.  The City of Mexia was informed that, as of 9:00 a.m. on January 27, 2020,  Mr. Flusche had not posted bond and remained in detention at the Limestone County Jail.  The City of Mexia will provide additional updates as information becomes available.   

Arrest of Mart Educator in Relation to Alleged Incident Involving Mexia High School Student

On Friday January 24, 2020 at approximately 6:30 p.m., the Mexia Police Department, assisted by the Texas Rangers, the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office and the Groesbeck Police Department, executed an arrest warrant for Mr. Conrad Flusche, at a residence in Limestone County. Mr. Flusche was taken into custody without further incident and is charged with Improper Relationship Between Educator / Student. Mr. Flusche is currently employed by the Mart Independent School District and is believed to be in an administrative leave status. The Mexia Police Department is currently the lead law enforcement agency for this on-going investigation.  Mexia Police Department Lieutenant Boyd has been assigned as the Lead Investigator.  The Mexia Police Department extends its thanks to the Texas Rangers, the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office, the Groesbeck Police Department, and the Mexia Independent School District for their assistance and cooperation.
