Desirae Settlemyer would be one of those to thank for our festive downtown decor. Not only has Settlemyer painted our town with her art club but she has also secured herself the 2021 Teacher of the Year award for Groesbeck ISD.
Amber Hall wears many hats at Groesbeck Middle School, and according to her coworkers, she wears them well; having earned the Teacher of the Year Award for her campus this year by popular vote. Hall teaches reading, honors reading, reading response to intervention (RTI) for students who need additional instruction, Gifted and Talented (GT), and a new emotional and social learning course called Middle School Matters.
