The annual Easter Sunrise Service will be held at the historic Big Hill Church on Easter Sunday, April 4. The Big Hill Sunrise Easter Service has been a long-standing tradition. The program will begin at 7 a.m. The Groesbeck First United Methodist Church has long supported the Sunrise Service at Big Hill. Everyone is cordially invited to attend.
Groesbeck is celebrating its 150th birthday this year. The Groesbeck Heritage Festival on May 28, 29, 30 will be held to celebrate this milestone for Groesbeck.
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in solving the following crime. On Sunday, February 28, 2021, between 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. an unknown person(s) burglarized a residence on State Highway 164 West near Groesbeck, Texas. A large amount of jewelry and two TVs were taken from the residence.
