Online Solicitation Investigation Leads to Arrest Near Mart

Authorities executed a search warrant Monday afternoon, Aug. 18, at a residence in the 200 block of Four Mile Road near Mart for two counts of online solicitation of a minor.
The Texas Department of Public Safety’s Criminal Investigations Division led the operation with assistance from the Mart and Groesbeck Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Southern Texas Task Force.
One suspect, Chester Lyndell Singleton, 54, was taken into custody without incident, and additional charges are pending. His bail has been set at $1.5 million.
