Groesbeck ISD cancels classes, activities for week, Feb. 15-19

All classes and extra-curricular activities scheduled for Monday, February 15, 2021 through Friday, February 19, 2021 for Groesbeck ISD have been canceled due to the following; Governor Greg Abbott’s Disaster Declaration for Severe Winter Weather, National Weather Service issuing the Hazardous Weather Conditions including Wind Chill Warning, Hard Freeze Warning, and Winter Storm Warning, an that 37 percent or more households are without electricity in Limestone County, along with the bands of heavy snow and hazardous/icy road conditions,

Groesbeck ISD at this time, will not move to remote instruction, but instead will utilize the bad weather days built into the schedule. Due to the arrangement of the 2020-2021 school calendar these four class days will not have to be made up.
