Limestone County Nov. 3 Election

Unofficial Results

Limestone County had a 65.54 percent voter turnout for the Nov. 3 General Election with a total of 9,153 ballots cast out of 13,966 registered voters in the county. 

The numbers reflected below are the unofficial results of the Nov. 3 General Election.

President/Vice-President:  Donald J. Trump/Michael P. Pence (Rep) 74.51 percent, 6,786 votes; Joseph R. Biden/Kamala Harris (Dem) 24.30 percent, 2,213 votes; Jo Jorgensen/Jeremy "Spike" Cohen (Lib) .72 percent, 66 votes; Howie Harris/Angela Walker (Grn) .30 percent, 27 votes; Write-in votes .16 percent, 15 votes.

United States Senator: John Cornyn (Rep) 74.19 percent, 6,653 votes; Marky "MJ" Hegar (Dem) 23.55 percent, 2,084 votes; Kerry Douglas McKennon (Lib) 1.36 percent, 122 votes; David B. Collins (Grn) .86 percent, 77 votes; Write-in votes, .04 percent, 4 votes. 

United States Representative: Pete Sessions (Rep) 75.29 percent, 6,779 votes; Rick Kennedy (Dem) 23.15 percent, 2,084 votes; Ted Brown (Lib) 1.57 percent, 141 votes. 

Railroad Commissioner: James (Jim) Wright (Rep) 75.10 percent, 6,779 votes; Chrysta Castañeda (Dem) 22.80 percent, 2,026 votes; Matt Sterett (Lib) 1.58 percent, 140 votes; Katija "Kat" Gruene (Grn) .52 percent, 46 votes.

Chief Justice, Supreme Court: Nathan Hecht (Rep) 73.70 percent, 6,544 votes; Amy Clark Meachum (Dem) 24.53 percent, 2,178 votes; Mark Ash (Lib) 1.77 percent, 157 votes.

Justice, Supreme Court, Place 6: Jane Bland (Rep) 75.77 percent, 6,725 votes; Kathy Cheng (Dem) 24.23 percent, 2,150 votes.

Justice Supreme Court, Place 7: Jeff Boyd (Rep) 74.25 percent, 6,598 votes; Staci Williams (Dem) 24.18 percent, 2,149 votes; William Bryan Strange III, (Lib) 1.56 percent, 139 votes.

Justice Supreme Court, Place 8: Brett Busby (Rep) 74.94 percent; 6,656 votes; Giesela D. Triana (Dem) 23.37 percent, 2,076 votes; Tom Oxford (Lib) 1.69 percent, 150 votes. 

Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 3: Bert Richardson (Rep) 75.38 percent, 6,687 votes; Elizabeth David Frizell (Dem) 24.62 percent, 2,184 votes.

Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 4: Kevin Patrick Yeary (Rep) 75.53 percent, 6,691 votes; Tina Clinton (Dem) 24.47 percent, 2,168 votes.

Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 9: David Newell (Rep) 75.85 percent, 6,704 votes; Brandon Birmingham (Dem) 24.15 percent, 2,134 votes.
