One dead after auto-pedestrian accident

One person is dead after an auto-pedestrian accident in Groesbeck Thursday morning.
Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers responded to a crash around 7:13 a.m. on SH-164 near CR-800, east of Groesbeck on Thursday, Nov. 2.
A pedestrian attempting to cross the street was struck by an approaching vehicle. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased and vehicle description have not been released.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
