JULY 27 Groesbeck High Cross Country practices start from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Athletes will meet every Monday through Friday until school starts. All runners are to report to the high school field house/weight room parking lot each day. Athletes should have their medical release forms and/or physical forms completed and turned in before day one of the workouts.
JULY 28 The Board of Directors of South Limestone Hospital District will hold their regularly scheduled meeting at 3:00 p.m. in the Board Room of Limestone Medical Center, 701 McClintic, Groesbeck.
AUGUST 1 The 32nd Groesbeck Athletic Booster Club Golf Scramble at the Battle Lake Golf Course. Tee time is 8 a.m. The registration fee is $300 per four-man team. All proceeds will go to the Groesbeck boys and girls athletic programs. The registration fee includes a to-go lunch, gifts, cash winnings for the first- and second-place teams, a random drawing for third-place teams, one mulligan, and range balls. To register in advance, call Battle Lake at 254-876-2837. Registration at the golf course will also be available beginning at 7 a.m. the day of the tournament.
AUGUST 3 Groesbeck High school volleyball two-a-days will start from 8 a.m to 10 a.m. and again from 12 noon to 2 p.m Monday through Friday. Athletes are asked to be there 30 minutes prior to practice times. Two-a-day practices are for athletes grades 9-12. Athletes should have their medical release forms and/or physical forms completed and turned in before day one of the workouts.

AUGUST 22 The Groesbeck Lions Club annual car show at Groesbeck City Park. The car show is one of the local Lions Club’s biggest events of the year.
SEPTEMBER 5-6 The Groesbeck Grand Prix Motoring Festival is unlike any event currently being held in the United States.
