First Baptist Church holds 9th annual teacher appreciation lunch
Teachers, staff, and administrators at Groesbeck ISD gathered at the Groesbeck Convention Center
On August 20 in for the 9th annual GISD Appreciation Lunch hosted by the First Baptist Church of Groesbeck.
Retired GISD teachers and students from GISD schools waited tables, serving those who sacrificially serve students all year long.
“A large part of the life and well being of our community is dependent upon our schools,” FBC Groesbeck Pastor Keith Collier told GISD employees. “We want to express our sincere gratitude and let you know that your work is greatly appreciated.”
FBC Groesbeck provides the lunch annually during teacher training days to encourage and express appreciation for all of the hard work district employees pour into the lives of students
