For bingo night at the Kosse Community Center on Friday, April 22, Mayor Brooks Valls took donations and sold raffle tickets for the lottery tree with all proceeds going to the Volunteer Fire Department.
The Groesbeck Heritage will be held at Old Fort Parker on Saturday, May 28th!
Once every four years, Education Service Center Region 12 swaps out the artwork adorning the hallway walls with new, original works of art from students in its region. Some of the new pieces come from the school districts in Groesbeckm Fairfield and Wortham.
The study room at the Groesbeck Maffett Memorial Library has not been used for studying for quite some time. It has been used as a storage room for excess books. After Saturday’s Friends of the Library book sale, the study room should be back in business for its original intent, studying.
