Limestone Medical Center EMS is the grateful recipient of the EZ-Glide Stair Chair. LMC Foundation has purchased the chair to assist EMTs and paramedics with transporting patients to and from their homes with funds generously donated by Mary Helen Campbell. Shelton Chapman, EMS Director, EMT-P, states that the stair chairs are especially beneficial when assisting patients in confined spaces. The one inch track-to-ground clearance and front swivel-wheels provide maneuverability over carpet and stair landings. The extending footrest and lower track angle increase the patient’s sense of security. The chair features five-position front telescoping handles and a five-position rear lift bar.
