Fall City-wide Cleanup NEXT WEEKEND

The City of Groesbeck will be providing a citywide cleanup event for the citizens of Groesbeck on Friday and Saturday, October 5 - 6, 2018.

Large dumpsters will be placed at the city lot located at 102 E. Jacinto (across from the old football field near the recycling center) for city residents to discard items which are not appropriate to place in the regular trash pickup. Dumping will be allowed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on these two days. The city will accept such items as appliances, old furniture, metal, trash, plastic, construction debris, lumber, brush, tree limbs and vehicle batteries. Any lumber, brush or tree limbs must be separate from all other items. Materials NOT accepted are tires, paint, household chemicals or any other hazardous waste.

Only persons living or owning property within the city limits of Groesbeck will be allowed to take part in this semi-annual city cleanup program. If you live outside the city limits and don’t own property inside the city limits, you will be considered an illegal dumper and will be subject to fines for illegal dumping.
