Food bank to serve in Groesbeck this week

The Central Texas Food Bank will distribute today (Thursday, April 9) from 10 a.m. to noon at Groesbeck High School.
The food distribution will be held in a large drive-through fashion, with a route planned through the Groesbeck High School parking lot. For addition information on the route, see the related map.
“We’re asking those to come with trunks ready to pop open and previously emptied,” Distribution Coordinator Brittney Little said. “We thought that it would be better to hold the bank in a larger space this time.”
“Their normal distribution points are in Kosse and Mexia,” said Groesbeck Police Chief Chris Henson. “They thought a more central location would be beneficial during the crisis.”
